I just discovered that several of the SPSS Directions conference presentations are available on the web. A company named StreamCenter has a very convienient interface, and much of the content is well worth watching. I have seen three versions of the Jack Noonan keynote, but if you haven't seen it you should. The basic idea is to define "Predictive Analytics" and the "Predictive Enterprise". SPSS's CEO provides an introduction, but several SPSS employees round out the "cast". If you happen to notice "buy now", have no fear – all but one is free.
